Trust, transparency, privacy and user safety aren't layers we add after a product is built. They're fundamental to how we design and operate our products.
01 / Adults only
Imperfect Lab's companion products are designed exclusively for adults.
Anyone under the age of 18 is strictly prohibited from creating an account, accessing, or using our companion platforms.
We use age-gating, age assurance and other safeguards designed to prevent minors from accessing our adult-oriented services. We continuously evaluate these measures as technologies, regulations and industry standards evolve.
If we become aware that a person under 18 has accessed or created an account on one of our platforms, we may immediately restrict access and remove the account.
Protecting minors is a fundamental part of how we design and operate our products.

People should always understand whether they're interacting with a real person or an AI personality.
We design our products to clearly distinguish AI experiences from human interactions.
AI profiles and AI-powered experiences should not be presented to users as real human beings.
As AI technology becomes increasingly realistic, we believe this distinction becomes more important, not less.

Where our products feature real creators, we use verification processes designed to establish authenticity and protect both creators and users.
Impersonation, deceptive identity practices and unauthorized use of another person's identity or content are prohibited.

Our products may enable personal, expressive and adult-oriented experiences.
That freedom does not extend to illegal, exploitative, non-consensual, abusive or otherwise prohibited content.
We use a combination of policies, technical safeguards, automated systems and human review to identify and address content and behavior that violates our standards.

We do not tolerate non-consensual intimate content, sexual exploitation, threats, coercion, sextortion or other forms of abusive behavior.
Content involving real people must respect their rights, consent and privacy.

Imperfect Lab maintains zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM), child sexual exploitation, grooming or any content or behavior that sexualizes or endangers minors.
This applies to real content as well as AI-generated, fictional, illustrated, animated or otherwise synthetic content.

We design our systems with respect for user privacy and responsible data handling.
Our products are designed to provide personal experiences while maintaining appropriate safeguards around personal information.

Users can report content, accounts or behavior they believe violates our standards through the reporting tools available within our products or through our designated reporting channels.
Reports involving child safety, non-consensual intimate content, credible threats or other serious safety concerns are treated as a priority.
